Ride a dragon and try on merchant costumes: new things the regions have prepared for Exposition guests
The international RUSSIA EXPO is always preparing something
interesting for visitors. If you haven't been to Pavilion No. 75 for a long
time, now is the perfect moment to stop by. There are new photo zones and
activities that both children and adults will enjoy.
Mendeleev's suitcase appeared at the stand of the Tyumen
region. Everyone knows this native of Tobolsk as the creator of the periodic
table of chemical elements. But the famous scientist was also a master of suitcase
making. Unusual craft helped him to distract from scientific works. Dmitry
Mendeleev's suitcases were durable and were in great demand. Also, at the stand
children can swing on a beautiful wooden horse, and parents can take
spectacular photos.
The exposition of the Primorye region was also enriched with
photo zones. You can make beautiful photos against the backdrop of sea waves or
right on a dragon. This is how the region introduces guests to Vladivostok's
popular sport — rowing on "dragon" boats. Several tens of thousands
of people are already engaged in it.
A real library corner was arranged at the stand of the
Krasnoyarsk region. Here you can get acquainted with the works of writer Viktor
Astafyev. A small exposition was organized in honor of his centennial. And the
Kaluga region arranged a small photo gallery dedicated to professional
dynasties of the region in honor of the Year of the Family.
Those who like to dress up and get their pictures taken
should visit the Nizhny Novgorod region, where guests can dress up in luxurious
merchant costumes of the 16th century. Such outfits will definitely make the
most spectacular photos.
Also, the RUSSIA EXPO is an ideal space for education. So
don't be surprised if you see real museum exhibits. For example, at the stand
of the Zabaykalsky region you can get acquainted with a dinosaur that lived in
the region about 168 million years ago. Its name is Kulindadromeus
zabaikalicus. It is a small dinosaur, about half a meter in height, from the
group of Ornithischia.
And at the stand of the Ulyanovsk region, you can see
Ichthyosaurus and its fossilized remains, as well as real ammonites, striking
in their beauty. The exhibits were brought from the Undorovsky Paleontological
Museum. This is the first museum in Russia created on a unique site of fossil
fauna of the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
