Pskov region presented the capabilities of the region's anchor medical organizations

The event was held within the framework of the Day of the Pskov Region on December 20 at the exposition of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

The exposition pavilion of the Ministry of Health of Russia was visited by the First Deputy Governor of the Pskov region Vera Emelyanova, the Chairman of the Health Committee of the Pskov region Marina Garashchenko and the Chief Federal Inspector of the Pskov region Alexander Khlopkov.

Five leading healthcare institutions of the Pskov region presented their achievements and potential opportunities to the guests of the exposition.

The Pskov Regional Clinical Oncologic Dispensary conducted dermoscopy of skin neoplasms for everyone. This study is held for the second time during the exposition and has already become a favorite among its guests. Last week at the stand of the Pskov region oncologists examined about 100 guests of the exposition, in particular, a 79-year-old man was diagnosed with basal cell skin cancer.

Diagnostic activities were also carried out by specialists of the Pskov Regional Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital. Visitors to the pavilion had an opportunity to take express tests for HIV and Covid-19.

The Pskov Regional Clinical Hospital offered guests to play medical board games. The games Guess the Doctor, Guess the Diagnosis and Is it True were invented specially for the exposition.

The Pskov Ambulance Station offered visitors to the exposition to practice their first aid skills.

The Pskov Regional Clinical Perinatal Center demonstrated the processes of labor simulation from theory to practice on a special interactive training device.

Medical organizations also held lotteries where they raffled off souvenir products and free certificates for medical services.

The visitors to the exposition highly appreciated the proactive attitude of the medical organizations of the Pskov region and their focus on the practical part of the demonstration of their capabilities.
