"Journey Across Russia": State Duma deputy Sergei Pakhomov praised the new exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA
State Duma
deputy Sergei Pakhomov participated in the opening of the "Journey Across
Russia" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA. In his speech, he
emphasized the significance of the new exposition and highlighted that it
allows visitors to see the entire country in a short time and to grasp the
scale of the changes that have occurred over the past decades.
"The
significance of the exposition is in its very existence. That's the most
important thing. It’s a place where one can literally see all of Russia. We
must understand that in the last 20–25 years, enormous changes have occurred.
And we, living in one city or another, in a particular region, do not always
realize the scale of these changes in our country," stated Sergei
Pakhomov.
The deputy paid special attention to the model of Sergiyev Posad, created specifically for the exposition. He emphasized that he was involved in its preparation.
"I
had the opportunity to take direct part in this and to put a piece of myself
into this exposition. It brings great happiness," he noted.
Sergei
Pakhomov reminded about the project for the preservation and reconstruction of
the historical appearance of Sergiyev Posad, which is being implemented in
accordance with the instruction of the President of Russia. Last June, Vladimir
Putin visited the city, where he was presented with the renewal project. The
deputy stressed that the aim is to create a new appearance for Sergiyev Posad
that can emphasize its status and spiritual significance.
The deputy
noted that he has visited many regions, but despite this, he was impressed by
the exposition. According to him, it was created with high quality and with
love. Sergei Pakhomov expressed confidence that he will definitely return to
the exposition and urged everyone to take this opportunity to see Russia in its
entirety.
The
"Journey Across Russia" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA
allows visitors to take a journey across the entire country in one tour — from
the Far East to Kaliningrad. The exposition includes eight zones corresponding
to the federal districts, interactive spaces, and Gastronomic Rows. The project
is designed to showcase the main achievements, cultural and natural riches of
the country, and to inspire visitors to embark on new journeys.
