Knowledge of Sakhalin will help to win a trip for the whole family to this unique region which is the only subject of the country located on the islands. The winners of the trivia quiz organized at the International RUSSIA EXPO, where the days of the Sakhalin region began on November 10, will go on a trip with accommodation and sightseeing tours.

Visitors to the Sakhalin exposition can make their own paintings from fish skin and carve animal figurines out of wood. The region presented an interactive exposition, where one can make a virtual journey through the picturesque forests and mountains of the islands and see the marine riches of the Kurils.

The guests of the exposition can learn why the Sakhalin region became a place of strength for the great Russian writer Anton Chekhov. And the governor Valery Limarenko presents the main achievements of the region in various fields. The Sakhalin region’s stand became part of the "We are the Far East" exposition and is located in Pavilion No. 75.
