Works of young inventors at the National Centre RUSSIA teach to dream and create from childhood
On January
17, Kid Inventors’ Day that is celebrated worldwide, we spotlight children’s
innovative developments showcased at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Alongside
humanity’s major scientific and technical achievements, the National Centre
RUSSIA also features inventions by young innovators that deserve admiration.
The "Time of the First" exposition, created by the Movement of the
First with support from Rosmolodezh and the presidential platform "Russia
– Land of Opportunity," tells the story of how important it is to dream
and boldly bring ideas to life.
"The
exposition presents unique inventions created by schoolchildren from different
regions of Russia — participants in projects and programs of the Movement of
the First and Rosmolodezh. Six innovative developments build upon the
discoveries of the greatest Russian inventors, themselves once born as
someone’s dream. Undoubtedly, these and other inventions will not only benefit
people but also serve as inspiration for new significant discoveries,"
said Maria Danilova, Head of the Department for Organizational Support of the
Movement of the First Projects.
Among the
children’s inventions showcased at the National Centre RUSSIA are a device by
Daria Yegorova from the Penza region that assists visually impaired people in
navigating spaces, a robot by Daniil Shilkin from the Tula region designed to
aid military personnel and rescuers, and even a neuro-trainer created by
Alexander Kokorev from the Moscow region to restore finger mobility after a
stroke or other brain injuries.
Every year,
more than 500,000 children’s inventions are created worldwide. Of course, not
all of them will reach mass production, but these projects undeniably prove
that our future is in capable hands.
