The week of folk arts and crafts continues in the Department Store space of Pavilion No. 75. Unique products from masters from all over the country are waiting for guests. You can also try to make your own toys, embroidery, lace, paint dishes and souvenirs.

KARACHUN TOYS AND LIPETSK MATRYOSHKA DOLLS

On Friday, June 21, from 12:00 to 14:00, guests will get acquainted with an unusual toy from the Voronezh region. An unusual toy, different from traditional Russian folk toys, began to be crafted near the village of Karachun in the Ramonsky District, hence its name. The fact is that the monastery engaged in pottery, and from the many pieces of clay that were left over, they decided to make handicrafts for children. This is how the Karachun toy appeared. You can learn more about the revived craft and buy a rare and beautiful souvenir at the Exposition in the Department Store.

LIPETSK BATIK AND RUSSIAN RAG DOLLS

On Saturday, June 22, 13:00 - 15:00, Anastasia Kiyatkina from the Lipetsk region will tell how the art of batik - sewing and hand-painting of clothes and interior items under the LEOS brand — is preserved in the region. Under Anastasia's guidance everyone will be able to make batik techniques and make unique patches on clothes. You can buy the brand's products as a gift for yourself and your loved ones here at the department store.

At the same time, the presentation of traditional rag dolls will be held in the Department Store. These toys boast a long history in Russia, they are especially popular in the Belgorod region, where even today Bekhteevsky Cultural Development Center carefully preserves the tradition of making them. The master of arts and crafts Victoria Podushkina will teach everyone to make rag dolls on their own, as well as tell about what dolls are and what meaning they had for people in the past. In the process of creating the "Inseparable Couple" doll guests will learn what material is used, why it is made without a needle and why there are no eyes and mouths. For those who would like to buy a ready-made doll, Belgorod masters will bring their best samples.

The program will be especially rich on Sunday, June 23. From 12:00 - 14:00, there will be a presentation of products of the enterprise of the Lipetsk region "Lace Land". The guests will be able not only to buy napkins, tablecloths, collars made of Yeletsk lace on bobbins, but also to master the technique of its making. From 14:00 to 16:00 guests will be able to buy products of Yaroslavl masters from the factory "Gardens ofAurika", where since 1996 they produce flower pots, vases, amphorae, exclusive porcelain, herbal dolls using traditional technologies. Guests will be able to dive into the pottery craft and delight themselves with a marvelous gift.

The District House of Crafts of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area, from 14:00 to 20:00 invites you to get acquainted with various directions of artistic crafts in the region. Masters of the region will teach guests how to carve bone and make a national souvenir, and will also present unique works of reindeer skin, bone and wood, produced by caring hands in the best traditions of the peoples of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area.

You will be able to take the finished products home and buy goods of regional masters here in the Department Store.
