Roman Starovoyt handed over a time capsule containing models of future transport to the Russia National Centre
Roman
Starovoyt, Minister of Transport of Russia, presented the time capsule to
Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO. It holds models of
future transport developed by domestic neural networks. The capsule will be
placed at the Russia National Centre.
"Since
November 20, the exposition has been visited by over half a million people -
more precisely, over 570,000 visitors. Our pavilion has set records too - over
32,000 visitors in one week. On January 20, we recorded the highest figure -
more than 8,000 visitors in a day. And these are just the main figures that are
impressive," said Roman Starovoyt.
Natalia
Virtuozova emphasized that the transport industry is one of the drivers of
Russia's modernization today.
"You
have created one of the best expositions at the RUSSIA EXPO. What the ministry
is doing today is propelling our country forward by leaps and bounds. I bow low
to you," noted Natalia Virtuozova, addressing the representatives of the
Ministry of Transport.
During his
visit to the Exposition, the Minister of Transport inspected the pavilion of
the agency "Russia in Motion" and awarded partners, exhibitors and
employees with commemorative insignia.
President
Vladimir Putin signed a directive on July 1 for the establishment of the Russia
National Centre. Over the next three months, the constituent entities will
present plans for establishing its branches.
The
International RUSSIA EXPO showcases the most important achievements of the
country in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich
business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89
Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public
organizations are presented to the visitors. The International RUSSIA EXPO
takes place on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
In the fourth episode, the guest of the podcast was Nikolai Chuikov, the grandson of Marshal, two-time Hero of the Soviet Union Vasily Ivanovich Chuikov.
Earlier, during the pitch session "Investments in Technology," Thiago Rudiger emphasized the importance of the Open Dialogue for global technological cooperation.
Volunteers will provide support during the Victory Parade on Red Square.
