Rosmolodezh: Federal Youth Day festivals gathered millions of Russians across the country
A large-scale celebration of Youth Day 2024 is taking place
in 38 Russian cities today. Federal festivals organized across the country have
already gathered more than 2.5 million people as of 19:00 (Moscow time), eager
for bright impressions, fun and new acquaintances.
The festive venues turned into real centres of attraction:
concerts of favorite artists, sports competitions, masterclasses, interactive
zones and much more. The atmosphere of the holiday reigned in the streets of
the cities, attracting people of all ages and interests, because the main youth
holiday was held under the motto "Uniting Russia!".
Festival participants in the regions were most interested in
the tracks "Together with Creativity", "Together with
Career" and "Together with Goodness", which include many
different formats: masterclasses, career counseling, recording podcasts,
various quizzes, trivia and educational meetings with experts.
For example, in the "Together with Career" track,
the lecture "Behind the Scenes of Sports: How to Build a Career in the
World of Champions" was given by Alina Zagitova, Olympic champion and
holder of all figure skating titles. Among entrepreneurs and those who want to
start their own business, useful discussions were popular, such as "How to
Create a Profitable Business. Successful Cases of Tatarstan" and other
events.
The festivals also featured thematic expositions dedicated
to the achievements of young Russians in various fields, meetings with Heroes
of the SMO, the Market of the Young, the Open Microphone, various masterclasses
and workshops where everyone could try their hand at a new business. It is not
the first time that the Market of the Young has become a platform for young
entrepreneurs on Youth Day. This year young entrepreneurs earned more than 10
million rubles, demonstrating the high interest of buyers in small business.
Such events promote entrepreneurial spirit among young people and support
diversity in the country's economy.
And the Open Microphone, where everyone can demonstrate their
talents in music, poetry, dance and other areas, received hundreds of
applications from talented young people from all over Russia.
In addition to the main program, the organizers prepared
various activities for the guests. For example, visitors of VDNH took part in a dance flash mob
"Moscow — the Youth Capital of Russia", saw a mass race on cycling
bicycles, and also took part in various thematic quizzes.
In Vladivostok the guests were welcomed by a whole gastro
street, the final of the Russian Esports Championship was held there, immersive
excursions and intellectual games were organized for everyone. In addition, the
city held the largest mass quiz to set a new record for the Russian Book of
Records.
Other cities also hosted numerous creative youth
performances, blogger workshops, sports competitions, a DJ set, a street
culture festival and much more.
For the first time in the history of Youth Day, couples from
all over the country had the opportunity to officially register their marriage
in a solemn atmosphere right on the festive grounds. This unusual step became a
symbol of the Year of Family, strong family values, unity and continuity of
generations. Throughout Russia, 70 young couples said their cherished
"yes" to each other: in Moscow, Kazan, Vladivostok and other cities.
The main youth day is held under the motto "Uniting
Russia!". The themes of the holiday are the Year of the Family and
Unification as the key meaning. Two
Youth Capitals of Russia — 2024: Moscow and Vladivostok are the main points of
celebration of the Youth Day.
Russia is a country of unique wide opportunities for young
people. Youth Day is a holiday dedicated to the future of the country. New
opportunities for young people in education, professional and family
self-realization are being created in Russia, which are supported by the
President. Platforms for self-realization of young people, created by Vladimir
Putin, attract many active young people across the country. Young people are
responding to the challenges the country faces, and the state is helping them
to realize their aspirations for the good of Russia.
The vast
majority of Russian servicemen are young people who risk their lives to defend
our country. They are the pride and support of the Motherland. The
President is providing young heroes with new opportunities for further
self-realization. Free education and the "Time of Heroes" personnel
project will give fighters the opportunity to gain new knowledge and serve the
country in a new capacity or a new position.
