"Russia is a land of great opportunities for the youth": The best graduates of the country were honoured at the National Centre RUSSIA
The All-Russian Student Graduation began at the National Centre RUSSIA on July 19. The event brought together top university graduates, winners of national projects, international students with outstanding achievements in youth policy and educational initiatives, as well as academic staff and vice-rectors responsible for youth policy implementation in Russian universities.
Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to dream and believe in themselves. She emphasised that Russia is a land of great opportunities.
"It is wonderful that this year we are holding the All-Russian Student Graduation at the National Centre RUSSIA, as this space is a source of strength for everyone. When young people find themselves in such a centre, I believe it reinforces their motivation to move forward and assures them that their actions will lead our country to technological leadership and sovereignty, so that their civic engagement will help us move forward and grow," said Olga Petrova.
The key goal of the event is to acknowledge students’ accomplishments, their contributions to the development of universities and the youth community, and to foster a graduate network committed to advancing education, science, and culture in Russia. This year’s graduation is held under the slogan "Let’s stay connected" – a symbol of generational continuity, strong ties with the university community, and confident progress into the future.
"It is a great honour for us to host such an event today. We thank the Ministry of Education of Russia and Olga Viktorovna Petrova personally for their support in organising such initiatives at the National Centre RUSSIA. On the President’s instruction, we are opening branches across the country and are looking for new professionals. Come join us – we’ll be glad to work with you! Today, you begin a new chapter of your life. Along with your diplomas, you are receiving not just a certificate of higher education – you are being entrusted with the future. From now on, you are the creators of Russia’s tomorrow. Your knowledge, your drive for change, and your fresh ideas are the main resource that will shape the future of our country," said Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, in her address to the graduates.
The federal graduation programme is designed as an intensive marathon, featuring educational and cultural segments, a formal ceremony, and a concert. Throughout the day, participants engage in meetings with mentors and speakers, workshops, sessions, as well as educational and motivational activities supported by the Tavrida Art Cluster, the Russian Youth Union, the Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia, the SHUM Centre, and the NOS student media centre of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Thirty outstanding graduates, who completed their studies with top honours and achieved exceptional results in science, public life, the arts, and sports, were recognised at an award ceremony on the main stage of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The organisers of the All-Russian Student Graduation 2025 are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the national student project "Your Move," the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity," the Russian society Znanie, supported by the National Centre RUSSIA and the national public-state movement of children and youth "Movement of the First."
