Russian civic activists to share the secrets of success behind their international projects at the National Centre RUSSIA
Mechanisms for overcoming intercultural barriers, adapting project methodologies to foreign contexts, and building international partnership networks will be discussed by representatives of Russia’s non-profit sector and relevant ministries and agencies at an open session of the final "Community" forum organised by the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation. The event will take place on 31 October – 1 November 2025 at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The session will be moderated by Nikita Anisimov, First Deputy Chair of the Civic Chamber Commission on Sovereignty, Patriotic Projects and Support for Veterans. He believes that effectively promoting Russia’s achievements abroad is a key element in establishing partnerships with the countries of the Global South.
"Public diplomacy plays an extremely important role: projects of Russian NGOs are in high demand and generate genuine interest around the world. Opinion leaders and intellectual circles in many countries highly value the opportunity for open dialogue and productive cooperation with Russian civil society," said the member of the Civic Chamber.
During the session, leaders of the non-profit sector will present a detailed analysis of successful cases — from conceptual design to practical implementation in foreign countries. They will explore tools for identifying target audiences and building communication strategies that ensure the organic integration of projects into new national and regional contexts.
Participants will also discuss the transformation of Russian social initiatives for a global audience, the promotion of successful social technologies and NGO projects on international platforms, as well as the support and development of civic engagement and initiatives abroad.
