United Russia congress to be held on December 17 at VDNH
The annual congress of the United Russia party will be held on December 17 in Moscow, on the site of the International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH. The agenda will be formulated in advance. This was announced by the Secretary of the General Council of the party Andrei Turchak.
"Before the congress, we will also hold three panel discussions — in Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod and the capital. Representatives of the regions will take part in them", — he said.
According to Andrei Turchak, at the panel discussions the participants will review the results of the work and formulate proposals for the December congress. He pointed out that the venue was not chosen by chance.
"Today, the RUSSIA EXPO is the place where we bring together what our country is proud of. What we believe in. And what we strive for in the future", — Turchak emphasized.
Within a month, the party branches will determine the delegates who will represent the region at the congress. It will be held in a single day, so that all participants could arrive on a weekend.
The Russian leader noted that the ideas born at the Open Dialogue will continue to spread and will ultimately lead to real change.
On the first day, idea pitching sessions were held across four vectors: "Investment in people", "Investment in connectivity", "Investment in technology", and "Investment in the environment".
