Pavilion
No. 15 "Building the Future" (Ministry of Construction of Russia)
hosted the Day of the Digital Housing and Utilities Enterprise. It was centered
around the subject "Cybersecurity and Drivers for Development of the
Construction Industry and Housing and Utilities Sector".
The event
gathered the leading drivers of Russia's digital transformation -
representatives of government authorities, industry enterprises, universities,
and IT companies.
At the
opening ceremony of the thematic day, Konstantin Mikhailik, Deputy Minister of
Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia, addressed the participants.
"Here,
on the territory of the RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH, our future is being built. It is
not the first year that we have been deeply working on the issues of housing
and utilities sector in terms of the introduction of new technologies, and this
applies to the training of specialists, changes in the organizational structure
of companies and, most importantly, the introduction of new products.
Therefore, without all this diversity of participants in today's event, it is
impossible to achieve the main goal - to find common ground. We are facing the
task of a colossal restructuring of the entire housing and utilities sector,
and not only physical restructuring. We must apply a systematic approach, and
this is the main task of our meeting. After all, the management of housing and
utilities sector through digitalization is the future," emphasized
Konstantin Mikhailik.
The guests
were told how the information security systems are built at housing and
utilities enterprises, where and for what purpose AI, robotics and digital twin
technologies are used. The central event was a lecture-discussion
"Methodological Support for the Digital Development of Housing and
Utilities Enterprises". It was attended by representatives of Innopolis
University, the Russian Ministry of Construction, Sitronics Group, Vzlet Group
of Companies, the Federal Center of Competences in the field of labour
productivity and other experts.
Representatives
of Innopolis University spoke about the project "Methodological Support
for the Digital Development of Housing and Utilities Enterprises", as well
as support measures and tools for the development of enterprises using modern
digital technologies. Special attention was paid to the need for a
comprehensive solution to one of the main tasks of digital development of the
industry - to increase the level of digital maturity of housing and utilities
enterprises, including through the introduction and replication of best
regional practices.
"We have encountered the situation when different parts of the country have interesting industry solutions, sometimes even small ones, which give a tremendous effect to the enterprise, but, unfortunately, other regions do not know about them. And we have faced this problem ourselves, for example, when we went to Minsk and saw a very interesting solution with the use of artificial intelligence at an enterprise that has been working on this technology for five years and is getting results. But, unfortunately, the Russian Federation does not know about this technology," said Alexander Yermolchev, Director of Information Technology and Head of the Center for Urban Economy at Innopolis University.
The Exposition hosted lectures, discussions and practical sessions on the topics "Prospects for the Use of Modern Technologies in Housing and Utilities", "Productivity in the Digital Economy" and "How to Build an Information Security at an Enterprise". The organizers of the thematic day were the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation and Innopolis University.
