"A fusion of cutting-edge technologies and deep history": journalists from Arab countries visit the exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA
On July 22,
journalists taking part in the RT Arabic experience exchange programme visited
the National Centre RUSSIA. Media professionals from seven Arab countries
(Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Lebanon, Morocco, and Palestine) took a guided
tour of the exposition "Journey Across Russia." The guests were
introduced to the main landmarks, technological achievements, culture, and
traditions of all the federal districts of our country.
Among the
participants were representatives of leading Arab media outlets, including Sada
El Balad, Roya TV, the Jordan News Agency Petra, Al24 News, Voice of Lebanon,
and Syrian Television. They shared their impressions.
"This
exposition felt like a real journey through the history and culture of Russia.
I discovered how vast this country is and how rich its legacy is — from music
to traditional crafts. Before, I knew very little about Russia, but today I’ve
learned a lot. What impressed me most was how advanced technologies and
deep-rooted history are brought together here — such different realms, yet both
presented equally vividly and engagingly. The architecture, the visuals, the atmosphere
— it’s all very inspiring. This is my first time in Moscow, but definitely not
the last," said Mariam Said, a correspondent from Egypt.
Sara
Ibrahim, a journalist with the economic newspaper Al-Borsa from Egypt, was
visiting the National Centre RUSSIA for the second time.
"My
first visit here was two months ago. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to
come back. I especially liked the interactive stands where you could try
working with the technology. Everything is done on a grand scale and is incredibly
engaging. The impressions are unforgettable," Sara Ibrahim emphasised.
Hayat
Hamdan, a journalist from Palestine, was struck by how the exposition showcases
the country’s development in various fields — culture, agriculture, and
technology.
"I really
liked the section dedicated to traditional women’s clothing — we have similar
garments in Palestine, so it felt very familiar. I also remember the
interactive submarine space, where it felt as if we were descending to great
depths. The snowy mountain landscape displays were truly impressive," said
Hayat Hamdan.
Media
professionals from the Arab world noted that they would definitely recommend
visiting the "Journey Across Russia" exposition to their friends,
colleagues, and acquaintances coming to Moscow.
The special
RT Arabic experience exchange programme is part of the "New
Generation" initiative, organised in cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo.
