The performance "Russian Seasons. Spring" surpassed all expectations — audiences of the production
The original multi-genre performance "Russian Seasons.
Spring" at the National Centre RUSSIA not only impresses with its beauty
and scale but also encourages audiences to take a fresh look at Russian
classics and the country’s cultural legacy. Visitors who attended the
performance shared these impressions.
Audience member Antonina Serova said she had long hoped to
see a production that would captivate not only with its visual beauty but also
provoke reflection. The performance "Russian Seasons. Spring" fully
met her expectations.
"The impressions are absolutely wonderful. I had been
waiting for something like this for a long time — something engaging and
meaningful, something for both the mind and the heart. But this performance
surpassed all expectations. I am overwhelmed by the realisation of how
magnificent Russian classical art is," she said.
Another visitor, Daria Vasyutina, admitted that she had not
previously taken much interest in this type of performance, but what she saw
inspired her and made her want to attend ballet more often.
"I am delighted. I loved absolutely everything. I would
especially like to highlight the scene dedicated to Anna Pavlova and Enrico Cecchetti.
Many thanks to the performers who played these roles — it was incredible. Now I
understand that I should take a greater interest in classical art and attend
ballet performances more often," Daria Vasyutina shared.
Maria Aiden expressed similar emotions. She was particularly
impressed by the scenes "Russian Dance" and "The Dying
Swan": "I think they left no one indifferent. The scene 'Polovtsian
Dances' also made a great impression — a vivid and large-scale performance with
magnificent execution. It gave me goosebumps. What I saw today strongly
motivates me to watch the full performances from which these scenes were
included in this production."
The performances of the original multi-genre production
"Russian Seasons. Spring" formed part of the festive programme of the
National Centre RUSSIA dedicated to International Women’s Day. They took place
on 7 and 8 March on the stage of the National Centre RUSSIA. The production
reminded audiences of the country’s contribution to world art, highlighted the
strength and courage of Russian women of the stage, and showed how the legacy
of the early twentieth century continues to inspire viewers of all ages today.
A recording of the livestream of the original multi-genre
