On Family, Love and Fidelity Day, July 8, the II All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts" will begin at the National Centre RUSSIA. TThe most memorable event of the occasion will be the simultaneous wedding ceremony of several couples in love. The names of the first participants are already known. Other interested parties can submit applications on the National Centre RUSSIA website until June 4.

The All-Russian Wedding Festival will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA for the second time, but it has already established its own wonderful traditions. One of these has become the large-scale wedding ceremony, when more than a hundred couples in love enter into matrimony simultaneously. In 2024, 151 families were created during the festival, and this year couples from all across Russia will tie the knot.

Konstantin Zaitsev and Amelia Shiyanovskaya will come to Moscow from Ivanovo. Konstantin works at a locomotive depot, whilst his bride works at the Tourism Department of the Ivanovo Region and is actively involved in volunteering. Konstantin proposed to his beloved just moments before their first tandem parachute jump, and Amelia said "yes!"

The couple in love from Chelyabinsk, Vyacheslav Moroz and Ulyana Potapova, have been together for only a year, but are absolutely certain this is forever. No wonder, as a chance meeting at mutual friends' completely changed their lives. Ulyana had just graduated from South Ural State University and was planning to leave Chelyabinsk, where she had no relatives. After her first date with Vyacheslav, the young woman realised that this man and this city were her destiny.

Alexander Molchanov and Darya Dvoryaninova from the Sverdlovsk region are a perfect example that one can meet their special person even at work. Professional photographer Alexander and makeup artist Darya had met several times on various projects before Alexander decided to ask the young woman on a date. This meeting began a love story that continues to this day.

The wedding festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts" will run until July 10. Its programme will include educational tours, workshops, expositions, lectures and public talks. During its run, the festival will reveal Russia's rich culture through the wedding traditions of its peoples. The celebration will conclude with a grand gala concert.

Photographs and applications from candidates wishing to participate in the simultaneous wedding ceremony are accepted on the National Centre RUSSIA website, "Gosuslugi" or at the Moscow Civil Registry Office by email: zags@mos.ru. The couples will be selected through a competitive process by the Moscow Civil Registry Office and the National Centre RUSSIA.

The All-Russian Wedding Festival was first held in 2024 as part of the International RUSSIA EXPO. On the first day of the event, more than 300 people registered their union. This event was entered into the Book of Records of Russia. Over the entire duration of the RUSSIA EXPO, 564 people got married — this historic event will remain in the memory of 282 families for life. Some families created at the I All-Russian Wedding Festival have already had children.
