Take part in the "My Far East" video essay contest and win a trip
As part of the Far Eastern Regions Days at the National Centre RUSSIA, the All-Russian Video Essay Contest "My Far East" will take place. The project invites young people from across the country to share their vision of the Far East — its nature, culture, people, and opportunities — through their own creativity.
Participants are invited to show how they see the Far East: their personal impressions from visiting the region, stories about their hometowns, or dreams of travelling there.
Schoolchildren and students aged 14 to 18 are eligible to participate. To do so, they must register on the competition website by 15 November, receive a topic, film a short video, and post it on VKontakte using the hashtags #MyFarEast (#МойДальний), #FarEastOnCamera (#ВКадреДальний), and #LiveInTheFarEast (#ЖивиНаДальнем). A link to the video must be uploaded to the personal account by 21 November 2025.
The winners will receive the grand prize — a journey to the Far East, where they will be able to experience the region first-hand. Finalists will be awarded commemorative gifts, and the award ceremony will be held online on 30 November.
The "My Far East" contest is part of the programme of events dedicated to the Far Eastern Regions Days at the National Centre RUSSIA. Its aim is to highlight the accelerated development of the Far Eastern regions and showcase their opportunities in housing policy, culture, economy, and entrepreneurship.
The future building of the National Centre RUSSIA will change perceptions of urban public spaces and become one of the main symbols of the capital.
As part of the Open Lecture Hall "Inventing the Future: Ecotourism", the geographical readings "Mosaic of the Peoples of the Far East" were also held.
The Open Lecture Hall "Inventing the Future: Ecotourism", an original project by the National Centre RUSSIA, was held in Vladivostok for the first time.
