Bond of cultures and 11 time zones: what impressed foreign journalists at the "Journey Across Russia" exposition
Foreign
journalists and bloggers attended the large-scale exposition "Journey
Across Russia" by the National Centre RUSSIA. The experts took part in a
discussion dedicated to the formation of a multipolar world. The meeting
brought together opinion leaders from European and Middle Eastern countries. At
the National Centre RUSSIA, they discussed the image and significance of the
President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, abroad, Russia’s influence
on processes in other countries, and the role of BRICS in the current economic
context.
The
international delegation also explored Russia through the lens of economic
achievements and innovative projects presented at the "Journey Across
Russia" exposition. According to the tour participants, the exposition
vividly conveys the country’s growing influence on shaping the global
development agenda.
"I
came to Moscow from Lebanon, and this exposition is simply astonishing for me.
We saw how actively Russia is developing and how much is happening here. This
is a great country, one of the greatest in the world. Russia always relies on
its own strength to make the world a better place and plays a strategic role in
global transformations, in worldwide development, in the field of artificial
intelligence and other areas. What we saw here is truly impressive. It’s
fascinating, and I’m amazed by what I’ve seen at this exposition," shared
Lebanese blogger and journalist Batoul Abdallah.
After
exploring Russia’s achievements in international trade, guests of the National
Centre RUSSIA noted that the country is setting a new global benchmark for
sustainable development. Foreign visitors pointed out that Russia’s consistent
import substitution policy and strategic partnership initiatives — including
projects within the EAEU, SCO, and BRICS — are turning the country into a
guarantor of global economic stability.
"I
live in China and I’m perfectly aware how important the relationship between
Russia and China is. In the first 15 minutes of this exposition, I have learnt
more about Russia than I ever had before. There’s so much gathered here! I
found out about the bridge connecting the two countries — that definitely goes
into my top five places to visit as soon as possible. I’m also impressed by the
bond between different cultures. It was a revelation to me that Russia spans 11
time zones, and you can celebrate New Year 11 times here. That’s
incredible," said John Whitehead (Canada), head of the media project
Reporterfy Media & Travel.
At the end
of the "Journey Across Russia" exposition tour, journalists and
bloggers remarked that the exposition presents the country as a unified
organism, where each federal district contributes uniquely to the nation’s
overall prosperity, the strengthening of sovereignty, and the enhancement of
international standing.
