Warm atmosphere and unity of generations: abаout 2 thousand people attended the family masterclasses of the Movement of the First

Making candlesticks, lamps, decorating toys and doing much more with their own hands - almost two thousand children and adults took part in family masterclasses held by the Movement of the First in January.

Elena Kuzmina and her grandson Stepa visited the RUSSIA EXPO for the first time and immediately stopped by the workshop. There they decorated little Christmas trees, which they took home with them.

"This is our first family handicrafts, it was very pleasant to take part in a family workshop, there is such a warm and cordial atmosphere: we were welcomed, everything was shown and we were given freedom of thought and creativity. Such masterclasses should definitely be held, it helps children to develop and allows parents to help them, in general it really brings them together", - Elena Kuzmina shared her impressions.

Near Pavilion 1, where the exposition First in Russia - the Land of Opportunities was located, during the festive days of January, visitors were entertained by street performers: folk groups, brass band, stilt walkers and other colorful characters.

"The year 2024 has been declared the Year of the Family, so it was a good idea to start it with family workshops. And already on January 19 it will be officially launched at the All-Russian forum Dear-Loved Ones, which the Movement of the First will hold together with Rosmolodezh, the Ministry of Labor of Russia, the Russian Society "Knowledge" and the Directorate of the RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH", - said Grigory Gurov, Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the First.
