"Technologies we once saw in films have become reality," says designer Igor Gulyaev

Designer and founder of the IGORGULYAEV Fashion House, Igor Gulyaev, took part in the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future". In an interview with the Press Office of the National Centre RUSSIA, he shared his impressions of the event, expressed admiration for new technologies, and noted that artificial intelligence can become an ally of the creative industries.

"The 'Inventing the Future' Symposium turned out to be an incredibly interesting event. It’s amazing to see robots and new technologies in action. As children, we used to watch sci-fi films and think, 'That’s impossible, it’s beyond reality.' And now some 'dolls' walk up to you, talk to you, ask 'How are you?', emit light and warmth. It’s both touching and astonishing," said the designer and founder of the IGORGULYAEV Fashion House, Igor Gulyaev.

He expressed hope that the experience and craftsmanship of creative professionals will soon merge with artificial intelligence in the fashion industry to create something truly meaningful — not only for Russia but for the entire world.

"I told my mum, 'I’m going to give a talk today — we’ll be discussing artificial intelligence.' She asked, 'What is that?' I said, 'I’ll show you when I get back.' And here I am — I came, I saw, and I realised that it’s impossible to describe in words — you have to see it for yourself. It’s truly captivating, it’s new, it’s amazing. Technology is evolving at an incredible speed," added the designer.
