Participants of the first event at the National Centre RUSSIA will be able to send a "Message to the Future"
Visitors to the International Symposium "Inventing the Future" will have the unique opportunity to send "Messages to the Future" postcards. This initiative is a joint project by the National Centre RUSSIA, Russian Post, and Marka JSC.
It invites guests to leave their wishes or visions for the future, share plans and dreams, and send these messages to loved ones — or even to themselves — right from the venue to any part of the world or keep them as a souvenir.
Limited-edition stamps with the official symbols of the RUSSIA EXPO have been prepared for "Inventing the Future" Symposium participants. Each stamp features a heart — one of the most recognizable and cherished symbols of the Exposition.
Visitors will be able to send these postcards by placing them in special capsules or mailboxes located throughout the National Centre. A total of 4,000 postcards will be available for Symposium guests. Russian Post will collect the signed postcards from the venue every day and promptly deliver them to their recipients. Years from now, recipients can look back on these messages and see how much of what was hoped for has come to pass.
"Every postcard will be delivered to its destination, regardless of distance or time. Even if recipients can’t read the messages immediately, senders can be assured that their wishes and dreams will reach their intended audience," emphasized representatives from Russian Post.
On July 1, 2024, President Vladimir Putin signed an order to establish the National Centre RUSSIA to preserve the legacy of the RUSSIA EXPO and showcase the country's achievements on a permanent basis.
From November 4 to 6, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the International Symposium "Inventing the Future." The participants will include scientists and researchers, futurologists and forecasters, science fiction writers, and representatives of the authorities.
The Symposium will become a unique international platform for open dialog, where the scenarios of human development and global challenges of our time will be discussed. The program includes more than 60 events in four areas: the future of human, the future of technology, the future of the multipolar world, and the future of civilization.
Participants from all continents will gather at the Symposium, creating an open forum for the exchange of experiences and knowledge among representatives of diverse cultures and nations. The Symposium will bring together over 3,000 attendees from SCO, BRICS, CIS countries, and beyond. Among the participant countries are Austria, Argentina, Armenia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Egypt, India, Spain, Italy, Iran, China, Canada, Kuwait, the USA, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Syria, Turkey, France, and others.
The Symposium program is published on the website future.russia.ru. Broadcasts of the events will also be available there during the days of the Symposium.
As part of the opening of the Symposium, an exposition will be launched that will support the idea of a human-centric dialogue about the future of the world. The exposition will allow each visitor to realize the importance of personal contribution to the future.
The National Centre RUSSIA will host a series of presentations titled "Journey Across Russia's Gastronomic Festivals."
The National Centre RUSSIA today meets the needs of various professional communities for communication and exchange of experience.
During the tour of the expansive exposition, the Chairman of the Government highlighted the significance of the display.
