Ulyanovsk Governor Alexei Russkikh invited to see the region’s exposition at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Ulyanovsk region Governor Alexei Russkikh spoke about the industrial achievements of the region and invited to learn more about them at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
The Ulyanovsk region is the homeland for Vladimir Lenin, Nikolai Karamzin, Ivan Goncharov. But the region is famous not only for its outstanding natives, but also for its unique tourist sites and advanced industry. The region has achieved serious success in aircraft and automobile construction, nuclear research. At the same time, new areas are actively developing. For example, in the field of alternative energy.
"The Ulyanovsk region became the first region where an industrial wind farm was established. For more than five years the energy generated here has been supplied to the Russian wholesale market. We were the first to launch the production of blades for wind turbines, now they will be fully domestic", — Alexei Russkikh noted.
The guests will never be bored at the exposition of the Ulyanovsk region. It will be possible to virtually fly in the cockpit of the legendary Il-76 airplane, or to become a captain and control a river dry cargo ship on the Volga, as well as to check the famous Ulyanovsk wind generators in action and charge the gadgets with their help.
The International RUSSIA EXPO will be held in Moscow at the VDNH territory from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Each region of the Russian Federation will present its stand, where it will introduce visitors to the key achievements in various industries. Federal authorities, representatives of large corporations, public associations and foreign countries will also take part in the exposition.
