Future public sector leaders explore next-generation technologies at the National Centre RUSSIA
On 14 July, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted an off-site educational seminar for participants in MGIMO University's Professional Retraining Programme "Urban Infrastructure and Territorial Development Management". The programme is organised by the Main Administration for Service to the Diplomatic Corps under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, MGIMO University and the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation.
The seminar was led by Ksenia Mayer, a graduate of MGIMO University's Master's programme in Urban Infrastructure and Territorial Development Management and Deputy Director General for Construction and Operation of the National Centre RUSSIA. Her practical experience gave participants valuable insight into the current challenges facing the sector.
Participants highlighted a number of technologies that could be successfully adapted and scaled across Russia's regions, including:
— Modular solutions for optimising space;
— A quick-release panel system for museum environments;
— Infrastructure for unmanned aerial vehicles and delivery robots;
— An intelligent badge network designed to facilitate professional networking.
The management expertise gained during the seminar, together with first-hand
experience of world-class technological solutions, will help veterans strengthen
urban infrastructure in their regions by introducing innovative approaches and
sharing best practices.
