A lesson of pride in the country: Students of "Sirius. Primorye" discovered the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region
On 21 October, 23 young guests from the "Sirius.
Primorye" Regional Centre have visited the branch of the National Centre
RUSSIA in the Primorye region. The visit was part of the full-time programme
called "Kaleidoscope of Cultures of Peoples Living in the Primorye Region
".
Each day of the programme is dedicated to the study of
traditions, history, and peculiarities of the region's different nationalities.
Today, the kids studied Russian culture, so getting to know the National Centre
RUSSIA in Primorye became a real immersion in our country and the region's
values and achievements.
"The children really liked the National Centre,
especially its interactive format. They tried themselves as boat captains and
helicopter pilots, saw the Rosatom exposition, and other modern installations.
The area dedicated to our fallen heroes made a special impression. When you see
their personal belongings, it just gives you goosebumps," said the chief
expert of the "Sirius. Primorye" Maria Ragab.
For the young guests, the visit to the National Centre in
the Primorye region was a real lesson of pride in the country.
"The National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye impresses with
its discoveries and technologies. I liked Rosatom and Fesco’s expositions the
most — they show electric vehicles, modern power plants, and nuclear power
plants. When you look at it, you realize that the future is already near,"
Sergei Fedotov shared his impressions.
Another participant of the "Sirius. Primorye"
programme, Vitalina Kosourova, said: "I really liked it here. You can see
everything — the technologies, the models of the future, and products of our
region. We were told that even the President of Russia had been here. You can
virtually try different professions, find out how Primorye lives, and what
plans it has for the future. It inspires and helps young people to
develop."
To the children, the visit to the branch of the National
Centre RUSSIA in Primorye became an example of how the past and the future,
nature, technology, culture and science of the region are combined in one space
— a lively, informative and inspiring one, and strengthened their knowledge
about the country.
