Don’t miss it: the exposition about the future of Russian regions at the National Centre RUSSIA extended for one more day
Muscovites and visitors to the capital have one more chance to visit the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future" at the National Centre RUSSIA. Originally scheduled to close on 22 October, it has been extended by one more day and will now run until 23 October inclusive.
The exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future", which opened at the National Centre RUSSIA on 2 September, showcases the achievements and strategic development plans of seven regions of the Russian Federation — the Chelyabinsk, Tula, Voronezh and Amur regions, the Nenets Autonomous Area, the Republic of Dagestan, and the Jewish Autonomous Region.
Each region has prepared a dedicated stand combining state-of-the-art multimedia technologies with authentic historical artefacts. Visitors can explore interactive installations highlighting the regions’ economic, social and cultural accomplishments.
The central display of the exposition is the legendary 2-3-2V steam locomotive — an exact replica of the high-speed experimental engine designed in 1938, symbolising the power of Russian engineering and its drive toward the future.
The exposition is located on the second floor of the National Centre RUSSIA in Pavilion No. 7. You can visit it independently or join one of the free guided tours. Don’t miss your final chance to witness the future being created today.
The event brought together more than 700 participants from 89 regions of the country.
The tenth awards ceremony of the all-Russian contest "Family of the Year" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The expert described the expositions as magnificent and emphasised their uniqueness.
