See Yugra – and fall in love with Russia!
Only a few days remain until the opening of the National Centre RUSSIA in Khanty-Mansiysk. On 17 December, a unique multimedia tour titled "See Yugra – fall in love with Russia!" will open at the venue. Guests will embark on a journey from ancient traditions to modern technologies, explore the key stages of the region’s development, and discover its cultural code through interactive elements, installations, and special projects. Registration for the event is available on the Yugra section of the National Centre RUSSIA website, in the "Events" section.

Prologue: the origins of identity
An immersion into history through the Essky Ring of the 15th–16th centuries – a symbol of peaceful accord. Guests will uncover the meaning behind the name "Yugra" and explore all municipalities of the region using an interactive map.
Pride through the ages
A central scale model of the region accompanied by a multimedia show, "encounters" with historical figures – from a hunter to an oil worker – animated bas-reliefs, and the extreme attraction "Swamp Buggy".
A dialogue between nature and humanity
A full immersion into the ecosystem: the scents of the taiga in the "Scent Quiz", the "Oblas Boat Race" simulator, and insights into the secrets of oil production.
The hearth of legends. Cultural heritage
The world of the Ob Ugrians’ traditions: shadow theatre performances, video installations of rituals, interactive ornament creation, and insights into everyday life.
The pride of the future. A modern region
Twenty-two multimedia portals present each municipality through the personal stories of local residents and their visions for the future.
Finale: the "Flight Over Yugra" cinema
A thrilling flight simulation offering panoramic views of natural landscapes, cities, and industrial facilities.
The tour is designed for visitors of all ages. Thanks to its interactive format, it offers full immersion into the past, present, and future of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.
