Training for tour guides held at the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk
At the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk,
forty specialists of the tour-guide team completed a two-week professional
immersion. The objective is to establish a unified standard for guest
engagement across all branches of the National Centre RUSSIA nationwide.
"Excursions at the National Centre RUSSIA are flexible narratives and their task is not only to introduce guests to the achievements of the region and the country, but also to evoke an emotional response and a sense of pride in one’s homeland and in our vast, unique country," emphasised Yevgeniya Sirota, Head of the Excursion Organisation Department of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The need for a standard for excursion work is driven by the
spirit of the time: dynamic, interactive, requiring engagement and swift
response. What makes the Krasnoyarsk format distinctive is that the tour of the
permanent exposition can be adapted to the target audience. Thus, the same
exposition will sound entirely different for schoolchildren and for a
delegation of foreign entrepreneurs: the guide must set the right focus so that
visitors leave inspired and enriched.
Over the two weeks, employees of the branch of the National
Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk completed training sessions, attended seminars,
took part in business games and acquired the core understanding of the
operational standards. Many proudly note that they have secured their dream job
in Krasnoyarsk and are eagerly looking forward to conducting their first tours
of the exposition.
The opening of the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in
Krasnoyarsk is scheduled for mid-December 2025. More information about the new
venue is available on the russia.ru website and on social media. Stay tuned for
updates!
