A branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will be established in Yugra
In
accordance with the Presidential Decree, branches of the National Centre RUSSIA
are being established in the regions of the Russian Federation to showcase
achievements, strengthen national identity, foster a sense of pride in the
country, develop professional skills among children and youth, and preserve the
legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO.
"Our
National Centre preserves the legacy of the RUSSIA EXPO. One of our important
tasks is to pass on knowledge and experience to the regions so that they create
points of attraction that will surprise and inspire people," said Natalia
Virtuozova, Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA.
Khanty-Mansi
Autonomous Area — Yugra has become one of the first regions to have a branch of
the National Centre RUSSIA. Governor Ruslan Kukharuk held a working meeting
dedicated to this topic.
"As a
result of the project defense, out of 15 regions, only five have been entrusted
to become the first territories where a branch of the National Centre RUSSIA
will appear. Our region faces a great responsibility to create a platform that
will unite the key achievements of each municipality of Yugra," emphasized
Ruslan Kukharuk.
The branch
of the National Centre RUSSIA will be established in Khanty-Mansiysk, with its
opening planned by the end of 2025. The event will be timed to coincide with
the celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of Khanty-Mansi
Autonomous Area. The site will become an exposition space and a place for
cultural events, educational programs, master classes, and creative meetings.
The Yugra
branch of the National Centre RUSSIA plans to host expositions dedicated to the
implementation of national projects and the contribution of Yugra's residents
to the country's development. By decision of the regional authorities, the
content of the exposition will be formed based on the opinion of the district's
residents. Work on collecting proposals will be organized in each municipality.
The task set during the meeting by the Governor of the region is to reflect on
the exposition pavilion site the main achievements of each of the 22
municipalities in the region, paying attention to the natural wealth and
achievements of Yugra's residents.
It is
noteworthy that since February, the regional Government's team, together with
the heads of municipalities and public figures, will conduct strategic sessions
in each municipality, during which proposals for filling the spaces of the
created exposition pavilion will be formed, and stands dedicated to the
district's cities will be developed.
The
exposition space will allow residents and guests of the region to become more
familiar with the achievements and potential of the autonomous district.
Together with partners of the Yugra Government — the year-round youth educational
centre Dobrino and the Russian society Znanie — more than 45 events are planned
to be held annually at the exposition site, attracting over 20,000
