The Krasnodar region is getting prepared for RUSSIA EXPO
The Krasnodar region plans to present its latest developments and technologies to the visitors of VDNH.
"The Krasnodar region is one of the leaders on social and economic development in the country. We can proudly present our major achievements in economic, infrastructural, technological and social areas succeeded over recent years. Now we are developing the design project for the show stand of our region. Kuban will be also actively involved in different business and cultural programs, in the fair and information content of the website for the EXPO", — stated Viсe-Governor of the Krasnodar region Alexander Ruppel.
During the event all the achievements of our region in the fields of tourism, agriculture and industry will be displayed on the central multimedia screen. The organizers for the show also plan to place some colorful photo areas and information stands associated with the famous sights of the Krasnodar region.
The main concept of the EXPO aims to tell the visitors about innovations in healthcare, culture, education and sport. A special area for changing exhibits, layouts, industrial designs and installations will be created for this purpose.
The Krasnodar region is famous for its estuaries, vineyards, sunny climate and unique natural sites. Such famous attractions as Krasnodar Park, Olympic Park in Sochi, the resorts of Krasnaya Polyana and Rosa Khutor enjoy great popularity among tourists.
Krasnodar is also the oldest oil-producing region of Russia: the first well was drilled back in the middle of the19th century. Five oil-refining plants are producing fuel now and their total production is over ten million tons of oil per year.
Senior pupils learnt about the advantages of living, studying, and working in the Far East during the seventh day of the School Students Forum.
Prominent state and public figures evaluated projects presented by 112 contestants.
The Mashuk Knowledge Centre is an All-Russian centre for training enlightening and managerial personnel in the fields of education, youth policy, and pedagogic work. It is located in the city of Pyatigorsk, at the foot of Mount Mashuk.
