The exposition that represented the region at the RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH has opened in Krasnoyarsk
By order of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region, Mikhail Kotyukov, the recognizable appearance of the exposition and its key displays have been recreated. Visitors can view the regional capital on a large-scale 3D model, embark on a virtual journey along mountain trails, and in the centre of the hall stands a sculpture of the Yenisei River, which, using AI technologies, tells the story of the region's achievements and landmarks.
"We managed to bring to Krasnoyarsk the demonstration stand that was at the RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH. The exposition of the Krasnoyarsk region became one of the most recognizable, and we wanted the residents of Krasnoyarsk to have a chance to see it as well," said Alexander Chernikov, Director of the Siberian Institute for the Development of Creative Industries.
The new feature of the pavilion is a virtual tour that presents the concept and content of the future branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk. By the end of the year, the branch will open in the building of the Yenisei Gallery. It will feature multifunctional interactive exposition zones, areas for recreation and creativity, business and cultural events, meeting rooms, and a press centre. The surrounding area will be improved with consideration for separating traffic flows and creating parking spaces.
The centerpiece of the exposition is the sculpture of the Yenisei River, which, using artificial intelligence technologies, tells the story of the achievements and unique places of the Krasnoyarsk region, its nature, industrial potential, and cultural and historical heritage. Additionally, with the help of special interactive simulators, visitors can climb the Torgashinsky Ridge, walk along the mountain trails of the Yergaki park, ride a bicycle along the embankment of Divnogorsk or the paths of the Gremyachaya Griva park, and paddleboard under the bridges of Krasnoyarsk.
The regional capital is represented in a 3D model, where recognizable objects such as stadiums, theaters, and bridges are recreated in miniature. On small screens, visitors can view the future Krasnoyarsk — metrotram, the renovated Opera and Ballet Theatre, sports facilities, squares, and parks. A location dedicated to the life and works of writer Viktor Astafyev is also featured in the exposition.
In addition, visitors to the exposition can take photos or postcards against the backdrop of the landmarks of the Krasnoyarsk region, learn about the region's history, national culture, and territorial features.
All of this can be seen on a large screen at the stand, and the virtual tour can be controlled with the help of special navigation buttons installed on the panel.
