A unique measure of social support for mothers is running for the title of the best project in the Murmansk region. Voting is held on the portal "Achievements.RF".

In total, the region presented 22 projects affecting various spheres of life. "Mom’s Salary" is an important social initiative that has no analogues in Russia. Thanks to this support measure, the number of first births in the region has increased over the past six years.

The essence of the project is that all women who have given birth to their firstborn child in the Murmansk region receive a monthly payment of 17 thousand 55 rubles, which is called "Mom’s Salary". Initially, the support measure applied only to young mothers, but soon the restrictions were removed. Support is also given to mothers who moved from other regions of the country with their first child under the age of one and a half years.

Now the social project "Mom’s Salary" is among the five most popular projects of the region on the portal "Achievements.RF". Anyone can vote for it or other applicants from the region.
