On March 1, the renewed Department Store RUSSIA opened at the National Centre
Starting
March 1, visitors to the National Centre RUSSIA can explore the updated
Department Store. The space has been expanded, and its interior is now
decorated in a spring-inspired style featuring elements of traditional
Mikhailovskoye lace, a folk art craft from the Ryazan region.
The product
range has grown — 159 manufacturers from 62 regions of the country are now
represented in the Department Store. The grocery section now offers honey,
marzipan, chaga tea, and salt with white mushrooms. The home goods section
features jacquard blankets, wooden tableware, candles, and diffusers. The
souvenir collection has been expanded with ceramic items, sea stone crafts, and
shamanic tambourines. Additionally, products from six more folk art crafts have
been introduced at the Department Store, including Dyatkovo crystal, Tagil
trays, Mikhailovskoye lace, Tyumen carpets, Zlatoust engraving, and the
"Khokhloma x Akhmadullina" collection. In total, the Department Store
now showcases goods from 24 folk art crafts.
"The
Department Store is now not only larger but also cozier. We have expanded the
assortment, introduced new design solutions, and created a spring atmosphere.
Our goal is for every visitor of the National Centre RUSSIA to find something
special for themselves or their loved ones," said Irina Tesleva, Head of
Regional Relations at the National Centre RUSSIA.
For
shoppers' convenience, gift cards in denominations of 5,000, 10,000, and 15,000
rubles are now available.
Visitors
can also explore the "Fashion" section, showcasing works by students
of one of Russia’s key fashion designers, Sergei Sysoev. This
architecture-inspired collection complements "The Birth of Scale"
exposition.
Additionally,
the Department Store will continue to serve guests of the National Centre's
events at its new location near the Grand Concert Hall.
The family workshop "Tatyeplota" ("Thatwarmth") — a brand founded by Lyubamir and Taisia Afonkin — represents the Ryazan region.
A mini-department store is open for guests of the event program at the National Centre RUSSIA.
