At the National Centre RUSSIA, the winners of the "Your Move" project were awarded and the "Student of the Year" was announced
On December
19, the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow hosted the Closing Ceremony of the
All-Russian Student Forum "Your Move — 2024." Well-deserved awards
were presented to the winners of the fourth season of the "Your Move"
project and the Russian National Award "Student of the Year."
Following the results of the forum, 200 winners of the "Your Move"
project received 1,000,000 rubles each, while the Grand Prix winner of the
Russian National Award "Student of the Year" received 200,000 rubles.
The forum brought together 2,500 participants from 89 regions of the country
and over 400 universities. The forum was organized by Rosmolodezh, the Ministry
of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Russian Youth Union, the
Presidential Platform "Russia — Land of Opportunity," and the
Rosmolodezh program "More Than a Trip."
The
ceremony was attended by Sergei Kiriyenko, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the
Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation; Dmitry Chernyshenko,
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation; Valery Falkov, Minister of
Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation; Grigory Gurov, Head of
the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs; Andrei Betin, Director General of the
Presidential Platform "Russia — Land of Opportunity"; and Dmitry
Pokrovsky, Chairman of the All-Russian Public Organization "Russian Youth
Union."
Sergei
Kiriyenko, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of
the Russian Federation, awarded 50 winners of the "I Do" track of the
"Your Move" project during the ceremony and emphasized the students'
desire to live and create in Russia.
"Today,
we are honoring the winners of the 'Your Move' project. However, diplomas and
awards are far from the only measure of success. You are all already winners.
For some, this forum will mark the beginning of a great journey, while for
others, it will be another step toward a significant goal. Each of you is
talented and capable of great things, but truly substantial challenges can only
be overcome together with a team that shares a common value — serving the
country and other people."
The
ceremony announced the name of the Grand Prix winner of the Russian National
Award "Student of the Year." The title was awarded to Vladislav Bykov
from the Saratov region, a participant in the nomination "Student Council
Chairperson of the Year." He received the well-deserved award from Dmitry
Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
"The
Government of Russia is creating all the conditions for the realization of your
potential and talents so that you can grow into well-rounded individuals, as
instructed by President Vladimir Putin. The national project 'Youth and
Children' is precisely aimed at this — the future of our country. And who, if
not you, represents that future? We have prepared numerous exciting
initiatives, such as the program 'More Than a Trip,' which will send 400,000
participants traveling across our country. Today's competition winner will
serve as a shining example to emulate, a role model you will aspire to
surpass," said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The
Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation awarded the
winners of the fourth season of the competitive track "I Do" as part
of the All-Russian student project "Your Move." The winners received
funding to implement their projects. A total of 16,848 applications were
submitted for participation in this competitive track in 2024.
"Four
years ago, the 'Your Move' competition was launched. Back then, our primary
goal was to support proactive students who know how to improve the world around
them, possess brilliant ideas, and need opportunities to bring them to life.
This year, the Forum brought together 2,500 participants, forming a vast
community of young people who care—those who love their country, their region,
and their university," said Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher
Education of Russia.
The head of
Rosmolodezh, Grigory Gurov, and the Chair of the Board of the Movement of the
First emphasized the importance of unity and cohesive teamwork among the
project participants.
"Today,
gathered here are those who are already ready for change, ready to transform
the world around them, starting with themselves. You are the true leaders of
your time, students who prove that youth is not only about dreams but also
about actions. Youth and student life mean living in the here and now — the
opportunity to do, to act today, to make mistakes, to learn, and to move
forward step by step from small aspirations to great goals. The 'Your Move'
project is a big family where every student can discover new horizons, find
like-minded people, and bring their initiatives to life. And we will
undoubtedly support them because, as history shows, the greatest victories
always begin with small ideas," said Grigory Gurov, head of the Federal
Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
One of the
most touching moments of the Forum's Closing Ceremony was a marriage proposal
made by a student from Elista right on stage. After her performance, singer
Anet Sai invited a young man to the microphone, where he confessed his feelings
to the entire audience and proposed to his beloved.
The organizers and founders of the project in 2024 are: the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Presidential platform "Russia — Land of Opportunities," the All-Russian Student Project "Your Move," the All-Russian Public Organization "Russian Youth Union," and the program of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs "More than a Trip." The strategic partner of the "Your Move — 2024" Forum is VK. All current information, as well as Forum broadcasts, will be available in the "Your Move" project community on VKontakte, the Forum’s official social network.
