The II Forum of Private Education opened at the National Centre RUSSIA
On February
18, the II Forum of Private Education began at the National Centre RUSSIA. The event
is organized by the Association of Private Educational Institutions with the
support of the Synergy Corporation and the National Centre RUSSIA. The forum
has brought together representatives of private schools, colleges,
kindergartens, universities, additional education organizations, government
authorities, expert communities, and businesses.
The welcome
address to the forum participants from the First Deputy Chief of Staff of the
Presidential Executive Office, Sergei Kiriyenko, was read by Olga Petrova,
Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and a
member of the Supervisory Board of the Association of Private Educational
Institutions.
"By
complementing and enriching state educational programs, private schools, colleges,
and universities play a crucial role in fostering well-rounded, creative, and
socially active youth who are prepared for the challenges of the modern world.
The private education sector also makes a significant contribution to
supporting participants of the special military operation and their families,
which is especially important in the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland. I
am confident that the forum will be held at a high professional level, and its
outcomes will serve as a foundation for further fruitful cooperation. I wish
you productive work and success in implementing your initiatives," the
address stated.
Olga
Petrova noted that the unique atmosphere of the National Centre RUSSIA would
contribute to the successful hosting of the forum.
"The
National Centre RUSSIA is a space for the present and reflection on the future
— and this is also true about education. I am confident that the very
atmosphere of the National Centre will contribute to productive communication
and the development of best practices, which we will, of course, be happy to
observe, analyze, and, where possible, integrate into the state education
system," said Olga Petrova.
Private
education has unique characteristics that make it an important element of the
educational landscape, noted Aide to the President of the Russian Federation
Andrei Fursenko in his address. He also emphasized that the key objectives in
this field include increasing the number of young participants in projects and
programs aimed at professional and personal development, as well as patriotic
education, and creating a modern professional development system for educators
at all levels with regular qualification upgrades.
In a video
address to the Forum participants, President of the Russian Academy of Education
Olga Vasilyeva noted that the main potential of private education lies in the
flexibility and adaptability of programs, as well as the ability to implement
and utilize new teaching tools and technologies. She also highly praised the
significance of the Forum in fostering dialogue and experience exchange between
representatives of the private education sector and relevant government
agencies.
Educational
events are one of the key areas of the event program at the National Centre
RUSSIA.
"Our
centre was created by order of the President precisely so that people could
realize their potential here and contribute to shaping the future of the entire
country. We have our own initiatives, such as the 'Open School' project, where
educational institutions present best practices. Every Thursday, our venue
hosts free expert lectures and discussions with fascinating speakers. We invite
everyone to the National Centre," said Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director
General of the National Centre RUSSIA, addressing the audience.
The Forum
began with a plenary session titled "Priority Directions for the
Development of the Education System of the Russian Federation."
Participants discussed the challenges facing the sector, including the rapid
transformation of the labor market, demographic issues, the need to ensure
scientific, technological, and industrial sovereignty, large-scale
digitalization, and the integration of artificial intelligence tools into all
areas of life.
The first
day of the II Forum of Private Education is held under the motto "Dialogue
with the State," culminating in the ceremony for the National Award for
Private Education. The second day will focus on the exchange of best practices.
