At the National Centre RUSSIA, a multimedia concert "Artemyev. The Connection of Times" will take place
On November
30 at 17:00, the National Centre RUSSIA will host a concert dedicated to the
birthday of the legendary Soviet and Russian composer Eduard Artemyev. The
event will feature his granddaughter Yekaterina Artemyeva, the lead soloist of
the Gradsky Hall Theatre Andrei Lefler, Nikita Shutov (trumpet solo), as well
as the Sound Puzzle Chorus and the Moscow-based ensemble OpensoundOrchestra.
The
melodies of Artemyev will be preceded by new works by young composers whose
creativity was inspired by the masterpieces of Eduard Nikolaevich. Their music
will be accompanied by modern technologies and generative design. Using
algorithms and neural network technologies, a team of engineers has prepared a
visual accompaniment.
As part of
the main program, the audience will hear soundtracks by Eduard Artemyev for the
films of Andrei Tarkovsky, Nikita Mikhalkov, and Andrei Konchalovsky. The
concert will also feature works by contemporary composers.
Professor, Honorary Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) in Bangladesh Mustafizur Rahman will be another international participant of the Open Dialogue.
On 28 August, the National Centre RUSSIA launched enrolment in the "Young Tour Guides School of Russia".
On 27 August, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted a panel discussion organised by the EISR titled "Knowledge about the Country’s Achievements: To Whom and How Should It Be Properly Communicated?".
