Volunteers of the International Volunteer Corps of the 80th Anniversary of Victory to be awarded at the National Centre RUSSIA

From 5 to 9 November, more than 1,500 volunteers of the International Volunteer Corps of the 80th Anniversary of Victory will gather at the National Centre RUSSIA. Participants will come from 89 regions of Russia and more than 30 countries. Over the past year, representatives from Russian regions, compatriots abroad, and foreign citizens have co-organised patriotic campaigns, conducted remembrance and courage lessons, held historical quests, and cared for the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War and the Second World War.

The closing ceremony of the Final Forum of the International Volunteer Corps of the 80th Anniversary of Victory will take place on 9 November at 17:30. The event will include the awarding of volunteers of the International Volunteer Corps of the 80th Anniversary of Victory, among them activists of the All-Russian public movement "VOLUNTEERS OF VICTORY", as well as members of Russian-speaking and international youth organisations from France, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Panama, Tajikistan, Abkhazia and other countries, together with leaders and volunteers of non-profit organisations engaged in patriotic education and historical awareness. The organisers will also summarise the results of the Corps’ work and present its future development plans.

The event will continue with the awarding of the winners of the international contest "Ready for Victories", which recognises the best practices and volunteers of the "Volunteers of Victory" movement who have been actively working in Russia and abroad throughout 2025. Distinguished guests will present awards in the following categories: "Best Municipal Headquarters", "Best School Squad", "Best International Office", "Best Community Centre", "Mentor", "Breakthrough of the Year", "Best Young Volunteer", "Best Volunteer", "For Our People", and "Family of the Year".

The closing ceremony will also feature the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory". To mark the occasion, the movement’s activists will take part in a flashmob and congratulate the volunteer community on this milestone. Currently, the movement is the largest volunteer organisation in Russia engaged in civic and patriotic education and the preservation of historical memory. The idea of preserving historical memory unites more than 1,200,000 members across 89 regions of the Russian Federation and 60 countries worldwide. Since 2015, "Volunteers of Victory" have focused their efforts on several key areas: assisting war veterans, improving memorial sites and military burial grounds, and organising international historical quests and campaigns within the framework of the Days of Unified Action.

The forum’s closing programme will include the recognition of regional teams that have made a significant contribution to supporting combat veterans as part of the "Red Carnation" campaign. The creative highlight of the event will be a performance by Nansi & Sidorov.

The forum is organised by the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory" with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy of Moscow, Rosmolodezh’s programme "More Than a Trip", the Presidential Grants Foundation, and other partner organisations.
