Residents and guests of Krasnoyarsk, students, and veterans of industrial enterprises became participants in the first guided tours at the new National Centre RUSSIA in the Krasnoyarsk region. They explored the unique exposition "Energy of People — Energy of the Krasnoyarsk Region".

"I explored the exposition with great pleasure — everything has been done to the highest standard. And the National Centre RUSSIA is located in the right place, in the heart of the city on the banks of the Yenisei. Such a venue is a true gift both to the region and to the country, and for us it is a source of pride," said geologist with 25 years of experience and one of the discoverers of the Porozhinskoye manganese ore deposit, Viktor Ustalov. "I wish the National Centre RUSSIA further success. I will definitely come back — there was not enough time to see everything," he added.

The exposition "Energy of People — Energy of the Krasnoyarsk Region" covers more than 5,000 square metres. It consists of 21 thematic zones, each telling visitors about the history of the Krasnoyarsk region, its culture, industry, and social achievements. The main goal is to spark interest in the region’s historical and cultural, recreational, and industrial potential.

"The very idea and organisation are extremely interesting. Everything is presented so beautifully and professionally that even I learned a great deal of new information about our region. Young people must definitely be brought here — school pupils and especially students. They do not know many things. We were among those who saw Krasnoyarsk being built and visited the aluminium plant when it had only just opened. That is why we went on to study at the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals," said Olga Ustalova, Associate Professor of the Quality Management Department at Siberian Federal University. "I believe the exposition helps people see what they previously only read about in books. This gives rise to pride in our region and in our great country."

Guided tours for organised groups are held at the National Centre RUSSIA in the Krasnoyarsk region daily, except Mondays, at 30-minute intervals. The duration of each tour is 1 hour 30 minutes.

Tours are free of charge and require advance registration.

Each group consists of 25 people.

Children under the age of 14 are invited to attend when accompanied by adults.
