A Great Tree will become a symbol of Mordovia at the RUSSIA EXPO
There are 39 days left until the opening of the country’s main exposition, and more and more regions are sharing details of what their stands will look like. For example, the Republic of Mordovia has presented the main symbol of its stand.
The central image at the RUSSIA EXPO will be the mythological Mordovian Great Tree. It reflects the destinies of people living in the republic and symbolizes the region’s aspiration for constant development. When designing the presentation, it was decided to pay much attention to famous residents.
"Those who now create the greatness of our region, and our famous fellow countrymen — Fyodor Ushakov, Patriarch Nikon, Stepan Erizya, Fedot Sychkov, Mikhail Devyataev. The concept of the exposition of Mordovia will be built in the context of these glorious names of the natives of the republic", — said the head of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov.
Special attention will also be paid to the cultural achievements of the republic. Four venues of the VDNH will host gala concerts of leading creative groups, master classes in arts and crafts, performances and art expositions.
International RUSSIA EXPO will be held in Moscow on the territory of VDNH from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Each region of the Russian Federation will present its own stand, where it will introduce visitors to key achievements in various industries. Visitors will be greeted by a unique map of Russia, stylized as a canvas with various national patterns.
