"Flavour as a Tool for Exploring Space": the National Centre RUSSIA invites you to a gastronomic masterclass
On 11 April at 16:30, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the masterclass "Gastronomic Geography: Flavour as a Tool for Exploring Space" — an event where the Russian Far East can be experienced quite literally through taste. Chef Pavel Vasilyev will demonstrate how an entire region can be "read" through flavour.
"We will talk about the Far East and the Pacific Ocean, about local products and regional endemics. I will prepare for you an open sandwich with Kamchatka red caviar on wild garlic bread, skate wing fillet stuffed with scallop meat, fern and celery. And to finish — a mousse made from Kamchatka bilberry, which is endemic to Sakhalin and the south of Kamchatka," said Pavel Vasilyev.
The masterclass is part of the large-scale programme of the National Centre RUSSIA, the Open Lecture Hall "Inventing the Future". This is a rare opportunity to hear eight unique experts in one day, exploring both Earth and space. They will share insights into what lies ahead for humanity. Join us — it will be both delicious and genuinely engaging. More details about the event and registration are available on our website.
