Vladimir Putin urged to make the traditional family a trend in Russia’s development
The large
traditional family must become a popular trend in the development of Russia.
This statement was made by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin
during the forum of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives "Strong Ideas for
a New Era," held at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Before the
start of the plenary session on July 3, President Vladimir Putin, accompanied
by Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Chupsheva
and Chairman of the VEB.RF Development Corporation Igor Shuvalov, visited the
exposition of participants in the competition of growing Russian brands
"Know Ours" at the National Centre RUSSIA.
"Only
you, with your creative flair, can turn the large traditional family into a
fashionable trend in Russia’s development, I sincerely want to ask this of
you," said Vladimir Putin at the plenary session, addressing its
participants.
This year,
the competition received more than 14,000 applications across five main
categories ("Food Products," "Consumer Goods," "High
Technologies," "Creative," and "Information
Technology") and several special ones. The aim of the competition is to
support promising, fast-growing, consumer-trusted domestic companies with a
high level of localised production.
Traditional
family values at the National Centre RUSSIA
The II
All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts", organised by
the National Centre RUSSIA, will take place from July 8 to 10 and will be timed
to coincide with the Day of Family, Love, and Fidelity. The festival continues
the traditions of the I All-Russian Wedding Festival, which was held in 2024 as
part of the International RUSSIA EXPO. This year, more than 200 couples from
various regions of the country will take part in mass marriage ceremonies.
Their wedding attire will include elements of traditional costume. Participants
and guests of the II All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting
Hearts" will also enjoy a rich educational programme.
July 8 will be a memorable day for future
families seeking to fill their lives with traditional values and spiritual
harmony. By marrying on the Day of Family, Love, and Fidelity at the wedding
festival of the National Centre RUSSIA, couples will affirm the awareness of
their choice and connect their personal happiness with the centuries-old
history of their homeland.
More than 12,000 people saw the production live, while the online version was watched by over 3.5 million viewers.
As part of the first celebration of Artist’s Day at the National Centre RUSSIA, state awards were presented to cultural figures.
