Creating the future together: a session of the RUSSIA EXPO at SPIEF
At the St.
Petersburg International Economic Forum, the session "Russia: Creating the
Future Together" will begin on June 6 at 11:00. Using the example of the
Russia National Centre, the concept of which was previously presented,
participants will discuss how the desire to create the future motivates
development and the role expositions play in this process.
The session
will be moderated by Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the ANO
«Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"», and will
include the participation of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential
Executive Office of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin, Director General of
the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation Alexei Likhachev, Governor of St.
Petersburg Alexander Beglov, Head of the Republic of Mordovia Artem Zdunov,
Governor of the Ryazan region Pavel Malkov, and Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail
Razvozhayev.
On June 4,
the concept of the Russia National Centre project, which is designed to
preserve the legacy of the RUSSIA EXPO, was presented. During the preparation
of the project, the authors studied the best practices for creating public
spaces and attractions, including drawing on our country's rich exhibition
tradition. "This innovative venue will not only showcase various
achievements, but we are also creating a space for dialogue and inspiration for
new accomplishments in all areas of life," emphasized Natalia Virtuozova,
Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO.

The lecture "Russian Architecture in the Global Context" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on May 30.
On May 30, the declaration on the establishment of the International Association of Children's Organisations (IACO) was signed at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The workshop "Apartment Planning Through a Child’s Eyes" took place on May 30 as part of the educational programme of "The Birth of Scale" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA.
