Senior generation volunteers in the team of the National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye
Volunteers of all ages are actively involved in the work of the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region. Silver volunteers — active participants aged 55 and over — have become an integral part of the Centre’s team, greeting guests, sharing their experience, and strengthening the bond between generations.
Silver volunteers from the regional branch of the United Russia party come to the National Centre RUSSIA branch in Primorye every day to help visitors and share their smiles. Their energy and friendliness create a unique warm atmosphere at the Centre.
"The participation of silver volunteers makes a huge contribution to the life of the Centre. They provide support in organising events, help visitors navigate the expositions, and bring warmth not only to guests but also to the staff of our branch. We truly value their efforts and are proud of them," said Polina Kalina, Volunteer Programme Manager at the National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye.
More than 3,000 silver volunteers in the Primorye region prove that the desire to be useful knows no age limits. This movement is gaining momentum across the country: more than 250,000 people aged 55 and over are registered on the Dobro.ru platform, and 40,000 of them regularly take part in social projects.
The National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region is also continuing to recruit volunteers for its Volunteer Centre.
What volunteers do:
— welcome guests and help them with accreditation;
— coordinate audience seating;
— support interactive and exposition programmes;
— assist tour guides in accompanying groups;
— provide help at information desks;
— participate in protocol services;
— manage visitor flows and ensure overall order.
Recruitment is also underway for senior volunteers — a position for those ready to take on more responsibility and coordinate volunteer teams. A short online interview is required for this role.
Those wishing to become volunteers of the National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye can submit an application. Requests are accepted from volunteers aged 14 and older who are registered on the Dobro.ru platform.
