"There is so much here that is fascinating and immediately makes you want to share it with others" — this is how Diengou Seck, a television presenter from Mali, described the "Journey Across Russia" exposition. This permanent exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA was her first introduction to Russia as part of the international blogger tour "Russia–Africa: New Media Meanings", organised jointly by the Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo and the "African Initiative" news agency under the "New Generation" programme.

"I'm so moved — I truly loved the tour. We learned so much at the exposition, and I came away with so many things that I now want to share with the viewers of my programmes in Mali, as well as with my friends, colleagues and family. I loved absolutely everything. I took lots of beautiful photographs, took part in the interactive activities, and it was all incredibly interesting and informative," said Diengou Seck.

According to her, the "Journey Across Russia" exposition is important not only for tourists but also for the country itself, as it helps Russia develop and present itself to the world.

"The exposition helps the country move in the right direction. It is always important to open yourself up to others — it is essential for promoting your country. We have learned so much here and have already grown very fond of Russia."

The "Russia–Africa: New Media Meanings" blogger tour took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on 26 July. Fifty journalists and bloggers from 12 African countries, with a combined audience of more than 30 million followers, have already begun discovering Russia. More new experiences, meetings with experts and filming sessions lie ahead for them, with the resulting stories set to reach millions of viewers around the world.
