All-Russian Children’s Award "New Philosophy of Upbringing": the country’s best advisers and mentors honoured at the National Centre RUSSIA
A total of 1,600 educators, teachers, lecturers, principals
and advisers to the school principals for upbringing took part in the award
ceremony for the winners of the IV All-Russian Children’s Award "New
Philosophy of Upbringing" at the National Centre RUSSIA on 29 November.
The forum is organised by the Russian Children and Youth Centre with the
support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The first category, "Navigator of Children’s
Discoveries", recognises school advisers who make a significant
contribution to creating an upbringing environment in which every teacher can
realise their abilities and talents. The award was presented by the Chief of
the Presidential Directorate for Social Projects, Sergei Novikov. The winner
was Inna Veselova, adviser to the school principal for upbringing at School No.
21 in Dalnegorsk, Primorye region.
"You bear serious responsibility — for your pupils you
embody the entire community of advisers to the school principal for upbringing.
You are the ones who help children become a team, who design events after which
they do not want to go home. Over four years, the Navigators of Childhood have
become like family to the children — and that is a major result. It is
excellent that the 'New Philosophy of Upbringing' award is organised together
with children. This year, the Children’s Expert Council developed tasks for the
finalists — children can test you as well. And that is wonderful, because all
our work is ultimately for children and in the name of children," said
Sergei Novikov.
He emphasised that holding the award together with children
is essential. This year, the tasks for the contestants were created by the
Children’s Expert Council, and, according to Sergei Novikov, young people not
only value teachers but can also test them — and do so with real interest and
enthusiasm.
The category "Navigator of Professional Pathways"
recognises advisers working in secondary vocational education who actively
interact with students, student communities, associations and institutions. The
award was presented by Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergei
Kravtsov. The winner in the category "Navigator of Professional
Pathways" was Polina Lapteva, Adviser to the School Principal for
Upbringing at the Shakhunya College of the Agrarian Industry, Sharanga
municipal district, Nizhny Novgorod region.
"For four years now, schools have had advisers to the
school principals for upbringing. When this project was conceived, many reacted
sceptically. But now we see that these advisers are young, promising educators
who create a special atmosphere in schools and colleges, passing on to children
the essential values of love for the Motherland, their families and respect for
teachers. They instil in children the qualities that make a person a true human
being. I want to express immense gratitude to all advisers. You take care of
what matters most — our children," said Sergei Kravtsov.
He also noted that the system of advisers to the school
principals for upbringing in schools and colleges has proved effective.
According to him, it is one of the best initiatives, creating an atmosphere of
support, development and trust for every child. Sergei Kravtsov thanked the
participants for their dedication and for the contribution they have made to
children’s upbringing. He also presented letters of gratitude and badges of
distinction from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The next winner was the municipal coordinator from the
Shchyokino district of the Tula region, Anna Vorontsova. She won in the
category "Team Inspirer". This category is awarded on the basis of
two key criteria: resolving problem situations and developing and describing
methodological activities for advisers at municipal level. The award to Anna
Vorontsova was presented by director of the Russian Children and Youth Centre,
Alexander Kudryashov.
"An adviser is a unique specialist who brings together
children, parents and teachers who strive towards major goals aimed at the
development of our entire country. The achievements of advisers would certainly
not be so far-reaching without the support of our excellent regional management
teams. It is at municipal level that the conditions for advisers’ work are
created: all educational organisations are brought together, executive
authorities and social partners are engaged, and opportunities are created for
the growth and activity of our professional community. A municipal coordinator
is also an important mentor for advisers, inspiring and motivating them towards
new victories and achievements," said Alexander Kudryashov.
The fourth category is titled "Navigator of My
Childhood". It recognises advisers to school principals for upbringing —
teachers who become true friends, mentors and significant adults in the lives
of schoolchildren and students, supporting them, revealing their potential and
helping them move confidently towards their dreams. The winner of this category
was selected by members of the Children’s Expert Council.
The winner was Yulia Karavayeva, Adviser to the School
Principal for Upbringing at Gymnasium No. 49 in the Tyumen region. The award
was presented by Director General of the Mashuk Knowledge Centre and Deputy
Director General of the Russian society Znanie, Anton Serikov.
The All-Russian Children’s Award "New Philosophy of
Upbringing" is an annual event in the field of education. Its purpose is
to identify and encourage advisers to school principals for upbringing,
municipal coordinators of the project "Navigators of Childhood",
representatives of parent and teaching communities, as well as citizens who make
a significant contribution to the upbringing of the younger generation.
The forum welcomed lecturers, school principals and advisers for upbringing work not only from the Russian regions, but also from the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The final stage of the International Forum "New Philosophy of Upbringing" began at the National Centre RUSSIA on 28 November. As part of the official opening ceremony, the participants were presented with the Code of the same name — the first in the history of the forum. This is the key document that defines the direction of upbringing work and serves as a basis for consolidating the efforts of the state, schools and public organisations in raising responsible citizens of the country.
