Choose a profession, control an icebreaker and compile a playlist based on the rhythm of your heart: Activities for teenagers at the exposition
It’s hard to surprise modern kids: at 12–15 years old, they already understand trends and conquer social networks, use new technologies and easily master various applications. Fortunately, there are pavilions at VDNH where even the most advanced kids won’t get bored.
VK pavilion
This exposition hardly needs an introduction. This is where teenagers want to go. And for good reason — the space is bright, trendy and very interesting. And who wouldn’t want to be inside their favorite social network. Right at the entrance the guests are met by famous characters from VK stickers, and you can make funny photos with them. Inside you can trace the history of the social network, get acquainted with new mobile applications, play games or take a picture with one of the cult heroes. For example, with the robot ballerina from Atomic Heart.
In the VK Video zone, young guests will have virtual meetings with idols: bloggers, musicians and actors. You can also try to create your own video clip and then download it as a keepsake. And in the music zone visitors have the opportunity to get their own individual playlist, selected according to their heartbeat.
Home of Youth pavilion
Everyone will certainly find it interesting here, but representatives of young generation are particularly recommended to visit this exposition. In one space, absolutely all opportunities for the development of schoolchildren and students are presented: competitions, forums and festivals, training programs, internships and more.
Kids aged 14–16 years old can go through the career guidance game School of the First Job — find out what professions are suitable for them, choose a university and even make their first resume. And high school and college students should definitely try themselves in the business game Entrepreneur. This is an interesting and inspiring experience that will help future businessmen a lot. In addition, wearing virtual reality glasses you can try on different professions.
By the way, the space in the Home of Youth is divided into several rooms, each with a lot of exhibits, interactive zones, games and quests. There is even a garage with simulators, where you can ride a skateboard. A separate space is dedicated to masterclasses; guests can take part in fashionable customization of clothes or weave a trendy bag. The pavilion also regularly hosts topical lectures and famous speakers from different spheres: from politics to the music industry.
Atom pavilion
The massive and impressive exposition devoted to nuclear power can fascinate not only serious adults. Children and teenagers will find it very interesting here. Children can sit at the control panel of the nuclear power plant, see a frightening nuclear explosion and its consequences, as well as stand at the helm of the icebreaker Lenin on a very realistic simulator. The last attraction is popular, but you should definitely wait in line.
The pavilion is full of spectacular exhibits and beautiful technological art objects — you can take the best photos for your social networks. Of particular beauty is the huge pressurized water reactor which launches a light and music show Atomic Symphony every half an hour.
The recreation area deserves a special mention. It has everything that teenagers need to be happy: exercise bikes, air hockey, table tennis, chess and even a climbing wall.
