The off-site tours of the National Centre RUSSIA inspire schoolchildren to make discoveries
On February 26, the National Centre RUSSIA held another off-site excursion for children. The event took place at Rehabilitation and Educational Centre No. 76, with three groups of children, as well as their caregivers and teachers, participating. According to the guides, the event left a lasting impression on the children.
This initiative is carried out in cooperation with the Department of Good Deeds (Department of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Moscow). Excursions for the residents of Moscow’s rehabilitation and educational centres are conducted in a format tailored to the children's individual needs and health conditions.
"We were delighted to welcome the National Centre RUSSIA. Such meetings inspire our children to be creative and encourage them to develop their imagination. It is especially remarkable that the main exhibit of the exposition is a pedestal for future inventions. I am sure that after today's event, some of our young experimenters have taken a step closer to new discoveries," noted Yelena Gavrilina, Director of Rehabilitation and Educational Centre No. 76.
The guides of the National Centre RUSSIA introduce children to the legacy of the "Inventing the Future" exposition. They showcase items from the Hall of Inventions and explain how ideas from science fiction become real scientific achievements. Thanks to these off-site events, children who are unable to visit the exposition in person still have the opportunity to learn about it.
