On 16 September, the ninth episode of the "Russia Speaks" podcast was released, dedicated to artificial intelligence — a technology that is already influencing the lives of millions of people.

The episode "How Will Artificial Intelligence Change Everything?" was recorded at the National Centre RUSSIA and became a place for a lively discussion between experts and visionaries. The participants discussed whether AI will replace humans at work and in creativity, whether neural networks can be trusted in medicine and business, how technologies are transforming education and science, and what the future will look like in 5–10 years — will it be digital utopia or totalitarianism.

Topics of the episode included:

—  why ChatGPT had a global impact even though similar models had existed before;

—  how AI is already being applied in Russian science and medicine;

—  why "hallucinations" of neural networks are needed in creativity;

—  whether it is possible to fall in love with artificial intelligence and what this could lead to;

—  which professions will disappear and which will be in demand;

—  how to maintain competitiveness in the era of automation.

The guests of the podcast were:

—  Roman Styatyugin, Director of the Centre for Analytical Products, VK Predict;

—  Sergei Vasilyev, director and visionary;

—  Andrei Kuznetsov, Director of the FusionBrain Laboratory at AIRI;

—  Alexei Shpilman, Director of the AI for Science Centre at Sberbank PJSC.

According to the participants, artificial intelligence is already shaping new standards in the economy, culture, education, and even personal life.

The episode is available to listen to and watch on the "Russia Speaks" website, as well as on VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, RUTUBE, and Dzen.
