Exposition "Journey Across Russia" awes young "New Generation" international participants
Within the framework of the "New Generation" programme, implemented by Rossotrudnichestvo, the National Centre RUSSIA was visited by young people from Zambia, Belarus, India, Malaysia, Serbia, and other countries. They came to Moscow to take part in Russian Energy Week, and began their acquaintance with the country at the main space of pride and achievements, created by order of the President of Russia. Many members of the delegation had been to Russia before, and the "Journey Across Russia" exposition inspired them to explore the history, culture, traditions, and landmarks of our country more deeply.
"For me, Russia is one of the most amazing experiences in all my travels
around the world. Every time I come here, I feel a deep connection with your
people, traditions, and culture. It is as if I am coming home. And at this
exposition, foreign guests can truly get to know Russia — from the Far East to
the European part, from the Arctic to the south. Here you gain a better
understanding of the country's resources, culture, and traditions — and all of
this in one place, in a single exposition. Not everyone has the opportunity to
travel to Vladivostok, to the Arctic regions, or to Dagestan, but here you can
get acquainted with each of these places," shared Nesan Selvaraj from
Malaysia.
A graduate of one of Russia's universities, Miloš Talović from Serbia, noted
that projects such as the "Journey Across Russia" exposition are
important not only for foreigners but also for Russians themselves. In his
words, they help the new generation learn about their country and take pride in
it.
"For me, it has been a great honour to come to Russia again, to become
better acquainted with its culture and history. At this exposition, I learned a
great deal that was new about nature, about the places I would like to visit,
especially in the east of your vast and rich country. It is especially valuable
that the exposition places great emphasis on preserving Russia's culture and
natural riches. For the new generation, it is very important to learn about
their country and take pride in it, and this is possible precisely through such
projects. I want to say once again, thank you for this opportunity, and I hope
we will meet again," said Miloš Talović.
"New Generation" is Rossotrudnichestvo's flagship international
project, implemented in partnership with Russian organisations. Within the
framework of short-term trips, representatives of political, public,
scientific, and business circles of foreign states aged 14 to 40 get acquainted
with Russia. The events cover various regions of the country, from Vladivostok
to Kaliningrad. Over the 15 years of the project's implementation, since 2011,
12,000 young people from more than 150 countries have taken part in it.
On 13 November, a special project — the gaming lobby "The Rink of the Future" — will be held during the International Symposium "Inventing the Future" at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The International Catherine Forum has been held in Russia since 2023.
The programme of the III International Symposium "Inventing the Future" will include three thematic tracks: "People and Values," "Progress," and "Culture and Art."
