The RUSSIA EXPO will show the broadcast of the final gala concert of the International Music Festival "Road to Yalta"
On May 1,
the State Kremlin Palace will host the final gala concert of the sixth
International Music Festival "Road to Yalta". Songs about the Great
Patriotic War in native languages of foreign vocalists-competitors from 15
countries will be performed on the stage of the Kremlin Palace. The live
broadcast of the concerts will be watched on city screens by residents of many
regions of Russia, and viewers from dozens of countries will join the online
broadcast. The best vocal numbers can now be enjoyed live on the website and
social networks of the International RUSSIA EXPO.
The
festival was first held in Yalta in 2019, and it soon became one of the
country's most significant annual cultural events and the most colorful
television projects dedicated to the Great Victory. Since 2022, "Road to
Yalta" will be hosted by Moscow. To preserve and convey the historical
memory of the Great Patriotic War through songs, to glorify the image of the
Soviet and Russian soldier-liberator, to remind of the terrible price that our
country and our people had to pay to get rid of the plague of fascism - this
was the idea of the festival "Road to Yalta" laid by its president
Andrei Kondrashov and artistic director Ernest Matskyavichyus. Dozens of
singers from all over the world who took part in the festival became promoters
of this idea, and their number grows every year.
The
"Road to Yalta" festival is held on a competitive basis. In 2024, the
organizing committee received 210 applications from vocalists from 55
countries. After the online qualifying round, the jury determined 15 foreign
participants who are invited to Moscow - their competitive fate will be decided
by the results of the concerts in the Kremlin Palace. Representatives of China,
Congo, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Italy,
Madagascar, Mongolia, Portugal, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, China, Congo,
Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Mongolia, Portugal, Slovenia and
Turkey have made it to the 2024 finals, which will be held in two stages.
On May 1,
in the final gala concert in the Great Hall of the State Kremlin Palace,
foreign performers will sing duets with the stars of the Russian stage: Zara,
Yaroslav Sumishevsky, Ekaterina Guseva, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Alexei Maklakov, Polina
Agureeva, Alexei Petrukhin, Yuta, Anna Bolshova, Alexandra Vorobieva, Vasily
Gerello and others. And this year there are 15 of them too!
The winners
of the "Road to Yalta" 2024 will be determined by the jury, which
includes: Merited Artist of the Russian Federation Denis Maidanov, Merited
Artist of the Russian Federation Kai Metov, Merited Artist of the Russian
Federation Zara, Merited Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander F. Sklyar,
Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for
International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy, Minister of Resorts and
Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko, President of NRC Kurchatov
Institute Mikhail Kovalchuk. Chairman of the jury is the People's Artist of the
RSFSR Lev Leshchenko.
The
organizer of the "Road to Yalta" festival is the Humanitarian World
Foundation, which implements major socially significant projects. The
International Music Festival "Road to Yalta" is realized with the
support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Executive Office
of the President of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Republic of
