"This exposition is vital for national cohesion": Swiss journalist highly praises the "Journey Across Russia" exposition
Lucy Morgan Edwards, a geopolitical analyst and journalist from Switzerland, came to Russia 30 years after her last visit. However, this was the expert's first time in Moscow: previously, Lucy Morgan Edwards had visited Saint Petersburg. As part of her visit, the journalist will once again visit Russia's Northern Capital, where she will participate in the SPIEF 2025 session "Shaping a New Platform for Global Growth." The session will feature the presentation of a report on the outcomes of the Open Dialogue of the National Centre RUSSIA, which will be presented during a press conference on June 16 at the National Centre RUSSIA, where Lucy Morgan Edwards will also participate.
This was also the Swiss journalist's first visit to the National Centre RUSSIA. The international expert was particularly impressed after taking a tour of the "Journey Across Russia" exposition.
"The exposition is very colourful; it splendidly demonstrates all the diversity and beauty of Russia. It seems to me this is very important for national", so that Russians themselves can come here and learn more about the different corners of their country. And for children, it's simply wonderful. I would be delighted to bring my own children here so they could see how diverse your beautiful country is. Everything is very engaging and charming. I especially liked everything they said about your fairy tales and the Urals, and, of course, the KAMAZ trucks and the opportunity to participate in the 3D interactive show with them," shared Lucy Morgan Edwards.
At the press conference on June 16, the journalist will speak about the necessity and importance of the Open Dialogue.
"It must be acknowledged that censorship is not something that should be present at an Open Dialogue. People need to know everything, and the Open Dialogue is precisely the platform that will help with this," emphasised Lucy Morgan Edwards.
After the press conference, the geopolitical analyst will travel to Saint Petersburg, where she will participate in the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum session "Shaping a New Platform for Global Growth," dedicated to the final report of the Open Dialogue.
The session will be moderated by Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation. Authors of the best essays from the Open Dialogue, whose ideas, like the thoughts of all participants, formed the basis of the report "Shaping a New Platform for Global Growth," will also take part.
The press conference on June 16 will be streamed on the website russia.ru and on the social media channels of the National Centre RUSSIA.
