On May 24, the 14-millionth guest visited the RUSSIA EXPO. He was eight-year-old Kirill Starov from the Kamchatka region, who came to the Exposition with his parents - Dmitry and Larisa.

The millionth visitor was congratulated in the "House of Polymers", where SIBUR's exposition is presented. Kirill was presented with a certificate for a family trip to Tobolsk, the tourist and industrial capital of Siberia. Today this city not only refutes stereotypes about snowy Siberia, but can show really amazing things - history, culture, gastronomy, spirituality, ecological production and accessibility for tourists - thanks to the newly built airport. More than one million tourists and sightseers visit Tobolsk every year.

"This is our first time at the Exposition. Every year we pass through Moscow - and it was this time that we decided to visit it," Kirill Starov said. "It is very unexpected for us to become the anniversary visitors. We have the brightest expectations from the upcoming trip - we want to learn something new and get new impressions," added his mother Larisa.

The guest program of the anniversary visitors includes an excursion to the childhood places of the great scientist-encyclopedist, innovator, native of Tobolsk Dmitry Mendeleev, whose 190th anniversary is celebrated this year.

The Starov family will also have an opportunity to visit and get acquainted with Mendeleev's direct heritage - the "giant on the Irtysh" or ZapSibNeftekhim - Russia's largest and most modern complex for the production of synthetic materials that will later be used to make telephones, pipes, clothes, car parts, dishes and many other things, without which it is difficult to imagine the daily life of a modern person.

Olga Binda, Head of Creative Development, Marketing and Analytics at the RUSSIA EXPO, congratulated the anniversary visitors.

"You are the first millionth-visitors who came to the new, blossoming RUSSIA EXPO. We have started the "Future in Flowers" festival - we highly recommend you to visit it. The Exposition is an area of gratitude and we say thank you for visiting us. We wish you a good trip and recreation," said Olga Binda.

The millionth guest and his family will also be provided with a flight and transfer to Tobolsk and back.

"We are glad that the RUSSIA EXPO gives a unique opportunity to millions of residents of the country, foreign tourists to see all the achievements of domestic science, technology, industry. In turn, the "House of Polymers" and industrial tourism programs of SIBUR enterprises continue to acquaint the general public with the achievements of modern oil and gas chemistry," said Oleg Makarov, Member of the Management Board and Executive Director of SIBUR.

The thirteen-millionth visitor was welcomed at the Exposition on May 16. It was Tatyana Yasyukovich. She came to the Exposition with her family: her daughter Anastasia Yasyukovich and her grandchildren - sixteen-year-old Vladislav and three-year-old Sasha. The family received a certificate for a trip to the Kirov region.

On April 6, the ten-millionth guest visited the Exposition: he was Konstantin Panfilov from Yaroslavl, who came to the capital with his wife Ekaterina. The couple received a certificate from the RUSSIA EXPO and Rosatom State Corporation for a trip to Murmansk to visit the world's first nuclear-powered vessel, the nuclear icebreaker "Lenin", as well as one of the universal nuclear icebreakers of Atomflot FSUE.

The Exposition crossed the threshold of five million guests on February 22. Alexei Maximov with his wife and two children came to VDNH. The family from the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd region, received a trip along the "Energy of Ladoga" route from the RUSSIA EXPO, the administration of the Leningrad region and the Igora Tour travel company. Thanks to the gift, the family saw the main symbols of the Volga region and got acquainted with the history of our country's small towns.
